@chrismpeters what’s up Froggy? Bjorck over Cullen for me. Talking about growth spurt. Viggo’s brother is 6’0 and his Dad is 6’2. If he gets to 5”11 or 6’0 does that change your narrative. Cheers.

@ThomasDrance They get some rest this off season & summer. I think they’ll be ok with that.

Make absolutely no mistake: this Ducks series win represents a changing of the guard in the Pacific Division. McDavid should be absolutely furious about the team they’ve put around him. Get your popcorn ready, what comes next in Edmonton could be very interesting.

@Hockey_Robinson I’d take him as high as 3. Yes he is small. But he has the brain, the hands and the Dog. He will fall, but he will be a stud. If he was 6’0 he’d be in the convo for #1

Viggo Björck closes his season in style with 4 points to win another U20 Nationell title. Across all levels: • SHL: 15 pts in 41 GP • U20 playoffs: 20 pts in 9 GP • World Juniors: 9 pts in 7 GP (gold) Big-time production in big moments

@CanucksArmy The Minny pick could become better than 24th as well. All it would take is a team lower in the standings reaching the conference finals and Kinny losing in round 1 or 2. As unlikely as it is, if 4 lower seeds reached the conference finals it could become as high as 20th

@mattsekeres Boston currently holds pick 6 (Leafs) and pick 22. That is the team to target and move down if they fall to 3

Must say, while I hear the argument that it's been a painful journey to a top-3 pick and that top-3 picks are necessary to complete a successful rebuild, I'm interested in the possibility of a trade down if it's only a few spots and it reaps good return.

Who should the #Canucks take if they fall to third overall in the #NHL draft lottery?

@Hockey_Robinson Pretty easy to criticize his drafting when your picking 26 and beyond in the first round every year. Gillis and his staff put together the best team they ever had. He also turned Patrick white and Daniel Rahimi into Ehrhoff. He did a great job in Vancouver

Growing buzz around Mike Gillis as a potential fit in Toronto. If the Leafs are serious about a philosophical shift, he’s one of the most interesting names out there. Bold decision-maker. Proven track record. Should be at the top of the list.

@MikeHalford604 Canucks have created lots of cap space. Would love to see them take on Laine for the rest of the season and get another asset to do It

@ThomasDrance At 1-0 (13-3 shots) thought we might be looking at the Dallas game on steroids. But they have a lead, and while that can & surely will be taken from them, you can’t take that away from them.

Nice to see response from the #Canucks after that nonresponse in what was supposed to be the Response Game, following the Nonresponse Game in Seattle.

@mattsekeres I think if the Canucks can’t facilitate a trade for Myers with another team he likes by the end of the day today, then Myers will accept the trade to Detroit tomorrow

A lot of discourse on Juraj Slafkovsky's early-career struggles. I'll just say this: Write off teenage big men with elite pedigree at your own peril. He may break right, he may not. But it is FAR too soon to be making sweeping assessments.
