Hey all! Been kinda quiet the last week. Not a good week. Kind of took a bit of a downturn. Meds started to lose their effectiveness so we've been juggling different types.

These need to be a thing again....just sayin

Got a little bit of a breakthrough in that now on a fentanyl patch. Which is actually working out pretty awesome. I dod get sick las night. Which with a drain running out of my abdomen was a LOT of fun. Still waiting to get the darn things replaced.

@gmalana1 @SBibeai @MEsum42 @Anonymo12869076 @CrushinNatty Hanging in there. Had a bad last 3 days and one of my drain catheters has come loose. Trying to get in to get that fixed asap. Upped my morphine again because of the pain. No more driving for me. That kind of sucks. We're keeping positive still and just living for each day.

How the mornings going so far.

@SBibeai Hanging in there. Liver drains are giving me fits but got that issue worked out finally. Pain level comes and goes. Yesterday was a 9 or 10. This morning a 3-4. Its crazy. Ordered and got my urn in...which is kind of weird and yet reassuring in a macabre sort of way.

@rdrh8 How are you holding up brother? You've been in my thoughts and prayers 🙏.

@Anonymo12869076 Hanging in there my brother. Think I'm finally starting to get used to living with two drains hanging off my abdomen. Weird sensation though man. Other than that, no nausea to speak of. Just the occasional bout of extra pain.

ALS patients have no time to waste. Due to how part of the ALS SSDI Act was interpreted, some with ALS still had to wait 5 months for disability benefits. My bill to fix this with @SenTomCotton, @SenWhitehouse, and @ChrisCoons was signed into law today. braun.senate.gov/bill-benefit-a…
