@mintysvech i went to her alabama show and it wasn’t sold out 😭 i bought a floor ticket at work for $90 and there was a bunch of tickets left- compare it to ariana grande who capped her tour prices and it’s still $1000 to get in the door

@readysteadytate it’s not about stopping it it’s about deterring it 😭 a lot of resellers do it because it’s easy. taking away the easy part means some of them are more likely to just deal with it and put them up for FV. ethel cain’s tour was sooo affordable bc she capped prices

gonna get hate for this but if pilots turned off transfers resellers would just send a barcode link, if they made verified fan to fan resale people would sell them on resale sites, if they capped resale they would also sell on other platforms there’s nothing they can do sadly :/

@faIIawayava what sucks is that people are still reselling noah kahan tickets and they can get away with it by sending a barcode link once ticketmaster makes it live- ticketmaster is playing in everyone’s faces when they say they are working with artists to stop resale

I love twenty one pilots so bad but at minimum they could have done what Noah kahan did and don’t the resale only at face value with the tickets locked …

How quick ppl are to turn and point fingers is ridiculous. Yes, bots/scalpers got tickets. Yes, Ticketmaster is a joke. No, it’s NOT the boys fault. But so many fans DID get tickets, and it’s a huge thing for the boys to play there so I hope they do post abt it bc it’s so special

@waterovermyhead @LavishTylerJ as a avid concert goer all of this does nothing- scalpers can just send the barcode if transfers are blocked, verified fan codes are cool and all until 80% of people don’t get codes, if they cap resale people will just sell on stubhub/ seatgeek. it’s not easy as it sounds

@LavishTylerJ Artists have the ability to add scalper and bot protections, but they chose not to. They could have used verified fan codes for presale. They have the ability to turn off transfers, and cap resale at face value. They can also track down and cancel scalped tickets. They had a say.
