“Nothing but respect”? Obama said Romney was a felon who gave his employees cancer and would push the elderly off of cliffs. Biden said he would put black people back in chains.
Spencer Hakimian@SpencerHakimian

This was barely a decade ago. 2 competent, fully coherent, men in their 50s/60s disagreeing at the margins about ways to make our society a little more productive. Nothing but respect for one another. We’ve completely spiraled out of control politically since then.

I could write the autopsy for you really quick: Joe Biden was the worst President America has had in decades, surpassed in incompetence only by their next nominee, Kamala Harris.
The New York Times@nytimes

Breaking News: Democrats released a draft autopsy on Kamala Harris’s defeat in the 2024 election that partly blames Joe Biden’s political operation, and arguing that it failed to position her for success in the race after he dropped out. nyti.ms/4uATd1G

🚨Jack Kimble with the most entitled threat in Congress: “We only make $174k for 140 days of work… pay us more or we’ll leave and you’ll be stuck with idiots.” Arrogant, entitled POS…you already get: $174,000 base salary $2,700+ per month in Meals & Incidentals (food stipend) when traveling Car allowances / leasing And Gold-plated pensions, health benefits, stock trading slush funds, book deals, and speaking fees The average American GRINDS 260+ days a year for a fraction of that, pays your salary with their taxes, and somehow doesn’t threaten the country like a whiny toddler when they don’t get a raise. The real threat isn’t you leaving. It’s that entitled clowns like YOU are still there in the first place, living better than the people you claim to serve!!!! Stay. Quit. Rot in the private sector. America will be just fine without another swamp parasite. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Rep. Jack Kimble@RepJackKimble

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

This is an incredible tactic that Red states should be employing everywhere. Honestly, just dissolve local governments at this point for most Blue cities. They've repeatedly proven that they can't govern themselves. There's literally zero reason for cities like Memphis or St. Louis to still have city councils or mayors that serve as nothing more than patronage machines to prop up Leftism in a state where it would otherwise cease to exist. Dissolve the city councils, abolish the office of mayor, and have the Governor directly appoint a Viceroy to rule these cities with an iron fist.
Aric Toler@AricToler

This basically happened in Missouri. There was a statewide vote to force Kansas City to allocate at least 25% of its local budget to police funding. It passed, despite the city voting against it 66-34. So the rest of the state got to vote on and determine 25% of the KC budget.

Today at Trump National Doral Miami, we witnessed an unforgettable moment with the dedication of the 22-foot statue honoring President Donald J. Trump. Let me be clear: this is not a golden calf. We worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. This statue is a celebration of life. It is a symbol of resilience, freedom, patriotism, strength, and the will power to keep fighting for the future of America. It also stands as a reminder of the hand of God and His protection over President Trump’s life. Time and time again, when his life was threatened, God’s mercy prevailed. Today was not just a ribbon cutting. It was the public display of a powerful movement that has spread across America and around the world. I was deeply honored to serve as President Trump’s main point of contact throughout this process, and I do not take that assignment lightly. I want to personally thank Ash, Dustin Stockton, Brock Pierce, Hershey Friedman, Yaakov Filitchkin, Sam, Jack, and the 6,000+ Patriots who donated, believed, sacrificed, and made this historic moment possible. Thank you to the entire Trump Doral team for your incredible hospitality and excellence. And thank you, President Donald J. Trump, for calling me today and speaking to the crowd. We are forever grateful. God bless President Trump. God bless every Patriot. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸 #PresidentTrump #SpiritualDiplomats #TrumpDoral #TrumpStatueDedication #AmericaFirst #PatriotMovement #FaithFreedomPatriotism

The brutal truth is that our entire system relies on abortion You can’t keep women in the work force without abortion You can’t maintain the casual sex culture and disrupt family formation without abortion Women with children find themselves dependent on men, single women find themselves dependent on the state Women are more likely to take abuse from employers, less likely to demand raises, less likely to oppose their replacement People have been conditioned to believe they couldn’t function in society without abortion, and at some level we’ve ensured that’s correct We’re far from the first civilization to base itself on child sacrifice but don’t lie to yourself, that’s exactly what we’ve done You can look back on the Mayans in horror because they did their sacrifices on an altar but they could never hope to match our level of slaughter Until the paradigm shifts there will be no popular support for it’s restriction
Cernovich@Cernovich

Abortion has never been more normalized or popular. The pro-life movement, if their goal is to save lives rather than pay themselves $400,000 a year to go on podcasts, should ask why they keep losing at the state level, rather than agitate against Trump.

@RyanGirdusky We should pass a bill banning partisan gerrymandering. We could call it the “For the People Act.” It would be wildly popular. I sure wouldn’t support anyone who blocked the passage of a bill like that. Would you?

And you’ll swap those states for the 10 most populated states. This isn’t that hard people.
Garrett Searight@GarrettSearight

@MattFinkes 94% of presidential campaign stops in 2024 came in 7 states. Why? Because those were the only 7 states that mattered due to the electoral college.

@StarsNGrit @MattFinkes Under a national popular vote, an undecided voter in Hawaii has exactly the same impact as an undecided voter in Pennsylvania. That is fair. Under the current system, the undecided voter in Hawaii doesn’t matter at all. You think this is better, but that’s because you’re stupid.

Correct. And that’s why the Electoral College matters!! It’s true that states receive no visits directly from candidates but their votes currently still have an impact on the overall election of the president as politicians still need to win their vote towards the electoral college. If it was a direct majority vote then the smaller states population totals wouldn’t be able to out vote the handful or two of states that collectively hold the majority of our population. Politicians would curate their positions and laws they will pass to what the majority in those few states will like in order to get elected/reelected, even if the rest of the country is vehemently against it. States are structured as direct majority-vote elections. Not the Federal Government. The power in our Country to make and set laws is with the states and thereby the people. The federal government only has specific and enumerated roles, of which they continuously overstep every year. It’s honestly really stupid you can’t grasp that. And you call yourself a fucking American?! Wanting to dismantle the one thing that makes America what it is….ffs.

Mayor Pete might be the dumbest politician in decades. So you think if the popular vote was the method of determining the POTUS, candidates would spend their time in the 30th most populated state?
Pete Buttigieg@PeteButtigieg

Not everything is about Trump. I just believe every citizen's vote ought to count the same. And that the person who gets the most votes ought to win. Also, wouldn't it be nice for Utah to no longer be ignored in presidential politics?

Patrick Corn@reversefantasy

@MattFinkes I’m curious why you use Utah as an example of a potentially neglected state. Do you think that presidential candidates pay much attention to Utah now, under the current system? Relatedly, have you suffered a recent head injury?

“They’d spend more time in the states where more voters lived, instead of posting up in six purple states.” You eat lead paint don’t you?? If elected in a true National Popular Vote they would in fact ONLY visit the 9 or 10 most populated states where the majority of voters reside. They would give no attention to small states as they could easily be outweighed by the 10 largest states. They would have no need to visit Utah, Rhode Island, Nebraska, Hawaii, etc… You’re just a retarded, brainwashed shill.
