In all the @theheraldsun generated talk about ‘the @DanielAndrewsMP bike crash’ I haven’t seen one mention of the intersection. It’s a terrible design for both people riding bikes and people driving cars.

Dear Bike Riders everyone needs to provide feedback to @VicGovAu engage.vic.gov.au/black-forest-d… that the proposed redesign of Black Forest Drive is not good enough and that you don’t accept their position that reducing the car lanes and providing bike lanes is ‘not negotiable’.

Australia is wild. They literally play ANYTHING (song wise) on the radio. All sorts of curse words and inappropriate lyrics for a Wednesday at noon. Call me a conservative grandma all you like but I don’t think that’s cool.

Personally I think bikes are meant to move, but if I had to spin bike I’d rather the Darwin Waterfront early morning than in a gym

Wonder if the ‘residents’ know that living near bike lanes and paths increases the value of your house? So upsetting that the promise of pop up bike lanes isn’t being kept.

I’m always equal parts impressed, amused and annoyed when I see this gold standard protected bike lane outside Vic Roads in Kew Melbourne: it’s only 200 metres and the connections are awful
