@_JordanDecker When I saw it live I couldn’t believe it was a penalty. Seeing the replay he kinda jumped into him to hit him high. I can see why he called it but probably a bit chintzy, especially in a playoff game.

@therealab224 Gallagher has never been great in his own end. D have to move the puck quick to break the canes forecheck which is why Struble is in for Xhekaj. Normally I’d take Xhekaj in a playoff game but Struble matches up against canes better

I like Struble coming in for Xhekaj in this matchup.
Not the biggest fan of Kapanen coming in against a heavy forecheck team, I personally would’ve went Gallagher.
The D pairs need to be adjusted, I’d like to see

@MitchyGallo I think Vegas does have the right to pay him and not let other teams speak with him. But at the same time, when the tables turn I’d tell Vegas to pound sand when they ask. They are currently only in the playoffs because they got permission from the flyers to speak to torts

But he’s under contract. It’s no different than a non-compete.
I’m sure if Bruce Cassidy wasn’t expecting Vegas to pay him, they’d be cool with letting him interview elsewhere.

@bigheadhcky Suzuki has been good. Had a big goal in first game 7 and an unreal assist in second game 7. Played like 30 mins last night. It’s the rest of the line that needs to be better.

I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed in playoff Dobson . I don’t want to cherry pick but he’s not playing with the same intensity and skill as he was during the regular season . Wonder if he’s playing hurt ?

Noah Dobson doing his regular playoff performance where he won't hit, won't find an open man, won't clear the front, won't help at all in any real way. Hutson, meanwhile, has been all over the place despite being thrown around consistently by other players. Watching the difference is hilarious.

@fnveenie @SteadyHabs Hope Caroline is rusty because they’re definitely well rusted. I’d have rather played Carolina than Tampa or Buffalo before and Habs played two hard series and Carolina had a cake walk

I was more fearful of the Sabres than any team, with that being said I believe the Habs match up far better against Carolina.
