LaFleur said there will be guys ruled out later today. Wouldn’t tell us who yet. My guess is at least Watson and Jacobs will be questionable and both will play. Evan Williams probably out. Zach Tom idk.

Packers give up +/-3rd round pick and Romeo Doubs for D.K. Metcalf and then extend Metcalf seems like a reasonable framework to get something done.

My guess is we'll get multiple updates on Brandon Woodruff in the coming weeks that many people will find discouraging. Keep in mind that he's attempting a comeback from a major and rare surgery for pitchers that has a muddy recovery outlook.
If Woodruff gives the Brewers close to 100 innings in 2025 as a back-of-the-rotation starter, that should be seen as a great accomplishment and a win for both parties.

Always amusing when colleges describe their athletes like they're employees—using the word "tampering" (an employment & non-compete law concept) and suggesting contractual "interference" (even though colleges routinely poach students to transfer)—but insist they're not employees.
