My baby left today... 💔
She was a part of my life for 12 years, and today her leaving doesn’t feel real at all.
She left peacefully; her heart was just tired… her body couldn’t fight anymore.
She was not just a dog.
She was my shadow, my comfort, my safe place.
Always with me, quietly loving me, always loyal.
Despite being a German Shepherd, she proved every stereotype wrong.
She was soft, gentle, and just her own self.
She loved to lie in the sun, roll in the grass, and whenever I came home, she greeted me as if it was the best moment ever.
Even in her last days, there was the same trust in her eyes, the same love.
Today, I buried her among the flowers, just like she was a beautiful soul herself.
Home now feels very empty; this silence is very heavy.
Go, my dear… you are free now, no pain, no exhaustion.
Only open fields and sunshine.
You’ve taken a piece of my heart with you.
And I will always carry your love with me ❤️
Today, Mila fell asleep for the final time, taking with her that silent presence that paced through my home and leaving an indescribable, yet palpable void everywhere.
She was never just an ordinary friend..she was my discreet companion, always by my side, able to lighten even the toughest of days, a simple, sincere refuge that never asked for anything in return.
The first time I saw her, she was clumsy and small, unable to even climb on the couch, and yet, she immediately conquered my heart. She grew up by my side, sleeping while I worked, waiting for me in the difficult times, always present.
Today I wrapped her in her favorite blanket and whispered to her to rest. Anyone who has loved a dog knows: they’re not “just animals,” they’re family members, and when they leave, they take a bit of us with them, but leave an everlasting love behind.
