Please please watch this. I could not have said this better. @RandPaul is a doctor, I’m a surgeon. Both of us and 68,000 doctors are saying can’t we just follow the science and go where it takes us? This is all RFK Jr is saying. So 68k doctors can’t all be wrong in supporting his confirmation. The Republican Party and President Trump @realDonaldTrump, through the advocacy of RFK on behalf of children, have now captured the attention and votes from Moms who care for their children. This is an opportunity for our Senate leaders to understand that confirming RFK Jr @RobertKennedyJr could transform the outcomes of healthcare in the nation. It is unacceptable that we spend more money than the rest of the world in healthcare and yet have one of the lowest longevity rates. It is unacceptable that Europe will not buy the food from our farmers in America because of pesticide contamination. This is an opportunity to demonstrate that common sense prevails.

My Thoughts on the RFK Jr. Confirmation Hearings: I am astounded by the depths of corruption within the DNC. I had held onto a sliver of hope that, when the health of Americans—especially children—was on the line, they would set aside their partisan games. I was wrong. The Senate’s Advise and Consent power has degenerated into nothing more than a performance of lies and deception. I set my expectations embarrassingly low, and somehow, they still found a way to go lower. What makes this even more disturbing is how manipulative these senators are. If you aren’t deeply informed on the issues, their arguments sound convincing. They speak with such confidence and conviction that it borders on psychotic. Having followed RFK Jr. closely over the past year, I recognize the predictable smears: anti-vaccine, conspiracy theorist, and whatever else they can throw at him. What terrifies me is that the very people entrusted with leadership—those who should be the nation’s best and brightest—are knowingly deceiving the public. They understand that all they need to do is slap the anti-vaccine label on RFK Jr., and the average person, too busy to investigate, will simply accept it. No matter how many times RFK Jr. explicitly says, I am not anti-vaccine, they refuse to listen. And the conduct of Democratic senators? Completely unhinged. The way they screamed over him, refusing to let him speak, gave me a headache just watching. I have no idea how RFK Jr. kept his composure. Then there’s Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren—self-proclaimed fighters against corporate greed—who have now fully sold out to Big Pharma. They made that crystal clear. Let’s not kid ourselves: If Biden had nominated RFK Jr. in 2020, every single one of these Democratic senators would have voted to confirm him. Many of them previously admired RFK Jr. Some even called him a friend. And yet, here we are. To no one’s surprise, the senators leading the charge against him just happen to be the biggest recipients of Big Pharma money. What an amazing coincidence. I have to give credit to some in MAGA. They’ve been calling this out for years. I just didn’t realize how bad it really was. I’m torn between disgust and sadness after witnessing these hearings. When profits and political power take priority over children’s lives, the system has failed. And if these hearings made one thing clear, it’s this: We need RFK Jr. confirmed.

I voted no on the continuing resolution because I do not support continuing Biden-level spending on wasteful government programs that throw billions of $$ in fuel on the fire of our nation’s raging debt crisis. Congress cannot continue to neglect its duty to pass responsible spending bills on time. I look forward to working with President Trump and Senate Republicans to rein in reckless spending and restore fiscal sanity.
