Thank God Tulsi Gabbard resigned!!! This is how the Iranian embassy talks about her. They love her! All of our enemies love Tulsi Gabbard. On Tuesday, General Yakubu Gowon launched his book, “My Life of Duty and Allegiance.” It was his account of the Civil War. In the book, he accused Ojukwu of smuggling weapons into the East during the war and blamed him for the escalation of hostilities. Excerpts from the book proved he wrote it to absolve himself of blame for leading the massacr£ of his (fellow) countrymen, which resulted in the loss of over 3 million lives. It is indignifying that Gowon, rather than unearth the truth and provide historical facts of the war for the unlearned and the upcoming generation, chose shifting blame, self-exoneration, and self-praise. He practically made himself a victim and the late Ojukwu a villain. Little wonder he chose to write his own account of a shared experience 15 years after Ojukwu, whom he portrayed as an antagonistic villain in the book, passed on. What’s more? He chose to release the book at this time, when Nigeria is having a history-defining election, where the South East and a Northern bloc look to form a coalition. This is very concerning. Excerpts from his book convinced me that Gowon wasn’t and isn’t a good man and leader.✍️
