INDIA’S JUDICIARY: Every 3rd High Court Judge is an “Uncle” This 2010 exposé on Punjab & Haryana High Court is damning proof of deep-rooted nepotism and shameless family favoritism. Sons, nephews, wives, brothers, sisters & in-laws — all practicing as advocates in the SAME court where their relative sits as a Judge. A list of 16 such “Uncle Judges” was officially forwarded to the Union Law Ministry. Just look at this table. Clear, blatant conflict of interest. How the can justice be delivered fairly when family members argue cases before their own “Uncle”? The Law Commission and Bar Council flagged this years ago. Nothing changed. This uncle culture has destroyed public faith in the judiciary. Merit is dead. Nepotism rules. We need ruthless reforms NOW: - Ban close relatives from practicing in the same court - Mandatory public declaration of family links - Strict penalties for violations Enough is enough. The temple of justice has become a family business.

One interesting fact , prof . Soumya Swaminathan delivered 86th Acharya J C Bose Memorial lecture on 30 th November, 2025 at Bose Institute Kolkata . His father, eminent agricultural scientist Prof. M .S . Swaminathan also delivered this prestigious lecture in 1972 at Bose Institute ,Kolkata. This is the only example of Father & Daughter delivering this prestigious lecture series .

রাজ্য সরকারি অফিসার ও কর্মীরা তো বটেই, এমনকি সরকারি অনুদানপ্রাপ্ত বিভিন্ন সংস্থা—যেমন পুরসভার কর্মী, স্কুল-কলেজ-বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকরাও—কেউ আর কোথাও কিছু লিখতে বা বলতে পারবেন না। পুরনো সরকারি নির্দেশ নতুন করে জারি হলো। (যা কিছু সবচেয়ে বেশি কাঙ্ক্ষিত ছিল, তা তো তাদের হাতেই ধরা দিয়েছিল। কিন্তু মাস পার হওয়ার আগেই সেই স্বপ্নের মোহ ভেঙে গেল; তাও একবার নয়, দু-দুবার!)

@AamiPhoenix আকস্মিকভাবে নয় , বিগত সরকারের আমলেও গত ১০ -১৫ বছর রাজ্য সরকারের সমস্ত বিজ্ঞপ্তি /আদেশনামা ইংরাজিতেই প্রকাশ হচ্ছিল । সুতরাং এটা নিয়ে অবাক হওয়ার কিছুনেই । বাংলাভাষায় সরকারি কাজকর্ম এখনও অলীক প্রত্যাশা ।

আকস্মিকভাবে এই সকল বিজ্ঞপ্তিগুলো শুধু ইংরেজিতে আসছে এবং এগুলোতে বাংলার সরকারের কোনো প্রতীক নেই। তারমানে বাংলার সরকার বলে কিছু নেই, সবকিছু দিল্লি থেকে টাইপ হয়ে আসছে। এখনও অবধি বাংলার শিক্ষামন্ত্রী কে? স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী কে? অর্থমন্ত্রী কে? আমরা জানিনা! গোদি-মিডিয়া সরকার চালাচ্ছে।

On May 19, 1961, paramilitary Assam Rifles forces opened fire on unarmed Bengali protesters at the Silchar railway station, killing 11 people. The demonstrators were participating in a peaceful Satyagraha to protest the Assam government's decision to make Assamese the only official language in a predominantly Bengali-speaking region. Today, this historical event remains a defining moment in the history of the Barak Valley in Assam. •The Tragedy: When the Assam Rifles opened fire on the crowd, 11 protesters were martyred, including Kamala Bhattacharjee, who is recognized as one of India's first female language martyrs. •Bhasha Shahid Divas: To honor the 11 victims who laid down their lives for the dignity of their mother tongue, the people of the Barak Valley observe May 19th every year as Bhasha Shahid Divas (Language Martyrs' Day). •Ongoing Demands: Decades later, the 11 individuals are still not officially recognized as martyrs by the Assam state government, and local groups continue to campaign for the Silchar railway station to be renamed to Bhasha Shahid Station.

Mezig is going the TCE direction — phase 1 with elranatamab is enrolling (NCT06645678), and the companion clinical paper (Chen et al,) already shows PD-1 and TIGIT down on patient T cells in vivo after mezig. Very intriguing indeed. If a short course of mezi can put exhausted T cells back into a functional state, "progression on bispecific" may not have to mean "switch agent."
