@ryanbate @stellacreasy Obviously you’ve not had to spend your working day in a mobile greenhouse whilst being responsible for the safety of passengers and the general public, it’s time that bus driver welfare oils legislated for, including effective and working air conditioning proper breaks etc

@stellacreasy @ryanbate What’s the point in raising? Driving a bus is arguably the worst job in the U.K. Not just repetitive but dangerous and not just violence, extreme heat too.

Today has been the hottest day in May on record with Kew Gardens provisionally reaching 34.8°C - exceeding the previous highest May temperature in the UK by a full 2 degrees Celsius🌡️
This heat would be exceptional in the UK even in mid summer, let alone in May📈
