In these kind of sequences, the move down from a local top can get aggressive.
Hard to time the exact turn.
That’s why I don’t try to play it perfectly.
I work it broad / soft
→ scale in
→ manage risk
→ take profits on the way
Not a fan of constantly re-entering locally in such a Dynamic Environment

Took some liquidity above in the short term
Would actually prefer a push into 80k
-> better fills, improves average
Plan stays the same:
-> scale in higher
-> take profits lower
Playing this as long as we dont see strength above 81k

Take a look at the post this is referring to - this position has been running for a while.
Already took ~20% off between 75 and 76 so I’m well in profit and risk is managed.
The orders above are adds, each with ~ 0.6% risk if filled.
This is not an intraday trade for me - it’s a swing.
Expecting lower over time, just working the position as price develops.

Entry is clean > order flow not showing weakness yet > rejection doesn’t look like a clean top - volume missing -> not conditions that give me positive expectancy closed with small profits. going flat into the weekend most of the move likely unfolds sun / mon last 6 trades: 4W / 2L

If you noticed, everyone suddenly flipped and started calling for higher targets, 78K, 80K only to get front run.
Why did they raise their $BTC targets?
Emotion.
Fear.
Pussy Mentality.
Trying to outsmart “everyone else” who was short,
and more importantly, trying to outsmart me.
I guess mfs still haven't learned a thing yet in 1.5 years.
When I came on this app, the goal was simple: bring TA back to a higher standard, like the old CT days.
But the space is so far gone now, it shows.

If trading was about being the smartest person in the room, you’d see a lot more profitable traders. There’s a lesson in that. It’s not about intelligence, it’s about reading the market for what it is, not what you think it should be. Overthinking leads to forcing narratives that aren’t there. Ironically, it’s often the smartest person in the room who tries to outsmart what’s obvious, convincing themselves it can’t be that simple… because if it looks easy to them, it must be wrong. More often than not, the market is just doing exactly what it looks like. People just fuck up cause they overthink. ✌️
