Seeing their modern potential in a new game feels right for what they could do next, be it for a future destiny release or for a new IP. After we mourn, it's time to let the devs cook. 💚

@GamerLXXXVI @JakeSucky 2700 players on steam the day they told us all destiny is over marathon had destiny PvP players and we only played to support destiny in the long run I uninstalled marathon and won’t be playing again either bungie/sony rethinks what they did or they’ll sink with the choice

Marathon was never intended to replace Destiny, but many Destiny fans clung to that absurd fear, and the only thing those same fans ended up causing was the demise of destiny, since many of them didn't support Marathon. In the end, ironically, their actions led to the downfall.
