RE: SPEAKERSHIP RACE I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race. After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament. I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker. I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years. I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same. I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me. In the meantime, I pledge to continue cooperating with all ongoing investigations as initiated by the relevant organs of the state to get to the root of all the allegations raised. Let this be a hard lesson to you and everyone else: when you hold an influential position, you must use it to uplift people, not to suffocate and destroy them. Look around. Do you see how almost every Ugandan is celebrating your downfall with joy? That is exactly what you sowed. You will reap it fully, and I assure you, it will not be easy. You made so many of us cry bitter tears. You made our families cry. You used your power to throw innocent people into prison. While we suffered behind bars, we lost everything, our homes, our businesses, our peace, our futures, all because you wished it so. We endured months of pain, humiliation, and trauma simply because of your influence. Yet in the end, we were released. The charges were dismissed. We were innocent all along. On the matter of forgiveness, I leave that to the Creator. As for me, I will never forgive you. For every tear you caused us to shed, may you pay. For everything we lost while rotting in prison under your watch, may you pay. For the deep trauma you inflicted on us, may you pay. For your corruption and abuse of power as Speaker, may you pay dearly. May you never find peace in this life for the evil you did to us. I am not sorry to say this: I feel zero empathy for you right now. None. You deserve everything happening to you and even worse. You are a heartless woman, and the pain you caused so many families must now return to you in full force. No mercy.

@kenkenlewu Right thing u did to notice and tell what the issue is and to help her resolve it. I had to tell my gal to learn to stand up for herself without being emotional about it. If it means fighting back, she shud, I will deal with the school when they call me up. Helps build resilience

My daughter of 6 years came back from school today and was so calm, this is unusual 🤷‍♀️. So after a while I asked her if she was alright She just nodded yes Then this evening she told me won’t be eating dinner that she is not hungry. This was when I knew that something was actually wrong 🤦‍♀️. Then I started asking her questions Praising her so she could open up to me Eventually she did Hmmmmm I was really broken by what I heard She said her classmate a boy stepped on her and he refused to say sorry to her, when she reported to the class teacher, the boy denied it. She said the teacher cautioned her not to lie again 😫. She said “ mummy I wasn’t lying, he stepped on me and he did it knowingly.” I assured her that I would call the class teacher and have her speak with her again. I called the class teacher and my daughter spoke with her and told her she wasn’t lying. The teacher told her not to worry that tomorrow she will sort everything out and she apologized to my daughter for not believing her. I was happy I noticed something wasn’t right I was happy I made a move I was happy I was a present mom/parent I was happy I have a connection with my child These kids go through a lot outside the home 🏠 A little doubt towards them brings down their self esteem. @Senatormao @kenkenlewu Children don't have a broader scale of issues/matters/ circumstances to compare with to tell whats trivial and serious. To them everything matters and it shud be dealt with to avoid shuttering these little worlds 1 piece at a time. I also tell mine to stand up for themselves too.

@kenkenlewu Perhaps another expedient moral lesson you still need to indoctrinate her with is: "How to over look trivial matters, and let go easily". That in it own is "simplicity". If she could take such "simple" issue that personal and wont eat, i think you should be more concerned.

@SpireJim All heads of institution shd be aware that , collaboration is very significant in doing work . If there is no collaboration btn the head and the workers , obviously nothing can be carried out excellently , the issue requires quick attention

A TEACHER’S CONCERN - KITEBI “Good Afternoon, Doctor. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all that you do, especially for being a strong voice for the many marginalized Ugandans. I am a teacher at Kitebi Secondary School, serving under the PTA scheme. My colleagues and I remain committed to shaping the next generation, despite the numerous challenges we face. There have been many moments when I considered quietly resigning, but I realize that walking away would not solve the problems at hand. In the end, it is faith and hope that keep me going. Today I write to you not to condemn anyone, but to seek your help in bringing to light the situation in Kitebi ss to thousands of parents(of ∼4,000 students), Old Boys and Girls, and everyone connected to Kitebi Secondary School — a school that serves as a UNEB marking centre. We, the teachers, are severely under-facilitated across all departments. Salaries are routinely delayed and at times withheld without explanation. All of this occurs under the watch of the Board of Governors. In 2026, from January to the close of Term One, we have received remuneration for only one month — and no one knows which month that payment was for. This has deeply eroded teacher morale. Staff at Kitebi now appear exhausted and demoralized, working only out of obligation. When I look at our new S.1 students, I worry about what they can realistically achieve in four years if conditions do not improve. We are not permitted to ask questions, and there seems to be no one to turn to. The school increasingly feels as though it is being run as one person’s enterprise- (the Boss, Team leader, Sir) Through your platform and followers, I appeal for intervention. We as teachers may eventually walk away, but the future of the school and its students is at stake.”

@SantosMwine Its okay to take a break. Your wife needs those breaks too! U are just dealing with symptoms of a much bigger issue. Deal with the cause and have it solved once and for all. Sit her down and talk about everything. Let her know how u feel and come up with solutions.
