California Just Got Its Last Drop of Middle Eastern Oil and Democrats Are Forcing Refineries to Plan Their Own Funerals. Two refineries closed in six months. Gas is above $6 a gallon. Nothing else is en route. And the super majority's response is to pass SB 1259 a bill requiring every remaining refinery to submit a decommissioning and shutdown plan by 2028. California Democrats Just Voted to Put Racism Back in Play. The Supreme Court has said time and time again no more race-based redistricting. California Democrats passed SB 1164 anyway. This bill is racist and it is unconstitutional. One party rule has no limits. #FixCalifornia

I Voted No. Here Is Exactly Why. I voted no on every parole board commissioner Newsom reappointed. These commissioners heard David Funston describe his urges to harm young children. The judge who sentenced him called him “the monster parents fear most.” They voted to let him out anyway. In secret. No public vote. No accountability. Newsom's response was to reappoint them and ask me to go along. My answer is no. #FixCalifornia

San Pasqual Academy Will Stay Open. County staff recommended beginning a phased closure of San Pasqual Academy, the residential campus providing housing, education and mental health services for foster youth. The San Diego County Office of Education opposed the closure. The Board of Supervisors voted against the recommendation and these kids get to stay. Proud to work alongside @jim_desmond to fight for them just as we did in 2021. Foster youth deserve stability. #FixCalifornia kpbs.org/news/education…

This Is What Happens When You Build. California families deserve to own a home. Not just find slightly cheaper rent. Escondido rents are down 5 percent and El Cajon nearly 2 percent because builders fought through the red tape to make it happen. That is a step in the right direction. This Is Why We Need Voter ID. A woman paid homeless people on Skid Row to register to vote in a scheme that ran for 20 years! The DOJ just secured a guilty plea. It took a federal investigation and an undercover journalist to expose it, because Newsom blocked every effort we made to uncover fraud. The left says election fraud does not happen. California Businesses Are Paying for Newsom’s Failures. Newsom had the money to pay down California’s unemployment debt. He chose not to. Now employers are staring down a 5.2 percent federal payroll tax nearly nine times what businesses pay in every other state. Small businesses that bled through shutdowns and fought to keep people employed are getting hit with the bill for his decisions. That is unacceptable. #FixCalifornia

This Is Not a Strategy. It Is a Cycle. One San Diego encampment was swept 107 times in 2025. People move across the street and come back. $7 million spent moving the same people in circles. The state gave San Diego $3.6 million to do four months of intensive outreach along the San Diego River. 56 people were housed. That is $64,000 per person for temporary placements. Newsom Has No Shame. @SenRogerNiello called it exactly what it is. Newsom compared his budget to Jerry Brown's surplus. Newsom is leaving his successor a $20 billion unemployment debt every other state paid, a structural deficit of $10 billion a year, a wall of debt approaching $30 billion, and a budget built on a stock market the LAO compared to the dot-com bubble. California's Gas Tax Is More Than Double the National Average! The average state gas tax is 33 cents a gallon. California's is 71 cents! Add cap and tax, the Low Carbon Fuel Standard and the boutique blend and government policy adds over a dollar to every gallon.
