Here's the newly constructed Wajir Stadium; the first ever stadium of its kind in Wajir County after 65yrs of our independence. No matter how a section of Kenyans tries to tell Wajir residents that Uhuru was better than Ruto thy will not understand; coz thy don't have anything to show from Uhuru. People who are seeing stadiums, highways, modern health facilities, railway lines and electricity for the first time have no business to go on the streets. Those who lived a luxury life for over 60yrs of our independence can't understand why a Rendille, a Pokomo, a Samia and a Kuria are over the moon seeing a stadium or a tarmac road in their areas.

We are fully aware of the frustration, pain and burden that families, businesses, farmers and transporters have endured due to rising fuel prices over the past few weeks. The truth is this: Kenya is facing the effects of a global fuel crisis caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This challenge is not unique to Kenya. Across the world, countries are grappling with rising fuel prices, supply shortages and disruptions in the global supply chain. Since the beginning of this crisis, we have responded decisively to cushion Kenyans from high fuel prices and to ensure the country continues to enjoy a stable and uninterrupted fuel supply under the Government-to-Government framework. In the April-May and May-June pricing cycles, the Government has spent KSh28.19 billion on fuel price support through direct stabilisation measures and Value Added Tax (VAT) relief of 8 per cent, protecting millions of Kenyans from even greater hardship. Without Government intervention during this period, Super Petrol would retail at KSh230 a litre instead of the current KSh214. Diesel would retail at KSh277 instead of KSh232, while kerosene would retail at KSh270 instead of KSh191. To further cushion Kenyans, I have directed a KSh10 reduction for diesel in the June-July pricing cycle. We call on Kenyans to remain patient as we navigate this crisis. Let us not allow irresponsible political opportunists to politicise a crisis that is global in nature. Together, we shall overcome these challenges. Held talks with transport stakeholders at State House Mombasa and agreed on a series of reforms to address concerns in the transport sector, including the possibility of a temporary relief on lending terms for the transport sector, insurance claims and regulations on minimum fares for digital taxis, as well as allowing the continued use of artwork and graffiti on matatus.

@dkmaraga I'm still wondering if the people who went to state house represent the views of 60 million Kenyans.....we shall simply boycott their Matatus as a citizenry and since the price affects all of us we should be ready to march the streets or down our tools

After overtaxing you, drowning you in debt and cooking the shadiest fuel deals in our history, this govt now wants applause for ‘negotiating’ a crisis it created. They hike prices, blame a ‘global crisis’, then compromise a few loud voices into silence and call it leadership. Kenya doesn’t need photo‑ops and KSh10 gimmicks on diesel. We need the extractive cartel state dismantled. We must Reset, Restore & Rebuild Kenya #Ukombozi @UGMParty @Maraga27 @ntvkenya @citizentvkenya @tv47digital @StandardKenya @TheStarKenya @NationAfrica

Kikuyu musician Kamanda wa Kioi has released a song mocking President William Ruto, with the line: “We don’t know who we shall elect, but we know who we shall not elect!” This is the same Kamanda wa Kioi who, together with his wife, had been unwell, and whose medical bills were settled by President William Ruto and his Deputy. Early last year, the musician was hospitalised at Guru Nanak Hospital. The President, together with the Deputy President, cleared a KSh 3 million hospital bill without any drama. Then his wife fell ill and was admitted at Nairobi West Hospital, where the bill came to KSh 3.5 million. The family and friends managed to raise only KSh 200,000. They appealed for help, but no one came through until Murang’a Woman Representative Betty Maina stepped in. She registered the family for SHA and paid the premiums. SHA covered KSh 1.5 million, leaving a balance of around KSh 2 million. After she had been locked in the hospital for nearly two months, President William Ruto personally cleared the remaining KSh 2 million. This is not a case of mere ungratefulness. It is a lack of basic human dignity and decency, the very qualities that separate us from animals. If it were someone like Samidoh or DJ Fatxo, whom the President might never have assisted directly, one might understand and give them a pass. But not Kamanda wa Kioi.

I wish to condole with the family of Jacob Oyoko who was killed in the boxing ring by one Julius Okuruchi. The death of Jacob would have been prevented had the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) chaired by Reuben Ndolo and the promoters of the tournament payed attention to the safety and needs of the players. The conduct of the KBF officials and referee in the whole match is questionable. I wish to ask @DCI_Kenya to immediately launch investigations into the unfortunate incident and have all those who committed acts of omissions and commissions arrested and charged with appropriate criminal offences. Jacob Oyoko was murdered.

We lost our mum earlier today after a long and bravely fought battle with illness. Our hearts are heavy, but we are grateful to God for the time, love, memories, and lessons she gave us. She fought with strength and grace, and we thank God for every moment we shared with her.

Super petrol price down by 4 shillings a litre. The price has dropped gradually from a high 218 shillings to the current 178 shillings, ( a net difference of 40 shillings), providing relief for households and sustaining the macro economic stability of the last three years.

Power does not fail loudly. It fails quietly, by lying, hiding data, and charging the poor. Yesterday, Citizen TV reported that 3 teachers were turned away from a hospital and asked to pay cash because SHA "was not working." Yet Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, CS Aden Duale, and President William Ruto insist SHA is working. Counties are quietly avoiding SHA. Today, Nation reports that Nairobi County officials declined to use SHA after being turned away from hospitals or asked to pay cash. In the Senate, Bungoma County admitted it does not use SHA, opting instead for a private medical cover for its staff. Hospitals are rejecting it. Counties are avoiding it. SHA payment data has been hidden since September. Yet Kenyans continue paying every month. So ask the questions leaders fear: If SHA is working, why hide the data? Why are patients turned away while citizens are taxed monthly? Where is the money going? We exposed ghost hospitals and SHA fraud. No serious arrests followed. This leadership lies, taxes, and hides data. SHA is failing. And Kenyans are paying the price. We must end this
