@jowhiley love hearing you talk couch to 5k. I started 3 years ago this month and you were the voice in my ears. Struggled to do 60 seconds. Since then got bowel cancer, chemo, radiotherapy, operation, stoma but just completed my first marathon. Thank you :-) @BBCRadio2

The raising of LHA is a really worthwhile, brave (and expensive) policy shift from @hmtreasury and @Jeremy_Hunt. Thank you for listening to the sector. This will hopefully prevent thousands of families from becoming homeless. However, there's still lots to do. 👇

This government is supporting people on low incomes with housing. We’re raising the Local Housing Allowance across the UK and providing £120m to prevent homelessness. This is in addition to £1bn+ already provided through the Homelessness Prevention Grant between 2022-25.

This is a very important campaign we are launching today with our partners @Sharedhealthgm 34 children died and temporary accommodation was cited as a possible contributing factor in their deaths. Totally unacceptable. Help us call on the government for change.
