Crafted by Olufunke @simplyafunky , "This is Lagos" is a striking tapestry made entirely from recycled materials—where sustainability meets art. 7200 bottle caps used in making this piece Weight: 34KG Size: 224 x 252cm in Length and 5cm in thickness Production Duration: 7 Months THIS IS LAGOS: A recycled tapestry is an evocative mosaic that captures the essence ofLagos—a city that thrives in color, motion, and layered histories. Meticulously composed from hundreds of discarded plastic bottle caps, this piece is a testament to the power oftransformation: from refuse to reverence. Here, Lagos emerges as both a vibrant metropolis and a living canvas, where tradition meets urban dynamism under a sky of endless possibility. This Artwork is on the Market Help us get it in front of the people who need to see it. #GlobalArt

Whoever is coming in as Nigeria's next President in 2023 MUST unbundle the Ministry of Information, Arts & Culture. Art can't grow with the present situation. A workable, pragmatic and proactive policy document MUST be put in place to drive the sector.
