Mamadou Sangaré is the type of midfielder Liverpool are lacking. He'd be brilliant as a 6. Brilliant defensively, athletic and quick. I hear he dominated the PSG midfield tonight. This potential move gets a big 👍 from me.

I'm going to say something controversial (not like me😂)which obviously won't be popular, but I won't gaslight ye like some of the bigger accounts 👇 Not a fan of the potential Adam Wharton signing for Liverpool at £70m. He's more immobile than Mac Allister, doesn't fit a 4-3-3, barely gets starts for England, and has had a really mediocre season. There's nothing he offers that Szoboszlai couldn't do alongside a proper 6. Pairing him with Gravenberch (after that big new contract) looks like another summer of ignoring the No.6 position. Two more attacking minded midfielders in the middle won't fix our defensive issues at all. Signing Wharton just reinforces my complete lack of confidence in Hughes and Edwards. How hard is it to actually replace Fabinho?

Jones is understood to have become frustrated after starting only 13 Premier League games this season.  Aston Villa have also added Jones to their list of summer targets while Tottenham would be keen if they avoid relegation. Comparing Declan Rice to Dominik Szoboszlai right now is not just unfair, it’s disrespectful to Rice. Rice is not only outstanding, he’s one of the best midfielders in the Premier League at the moment. His consistency, leadership, and control of games are on a completely different level.
