I got back to Korea about an hour ago.
PCD is still lingering, so I’ll organize my some thoughts
Last year, ticketing was basically a bloody battlefield, so I only managed to secure a ticket for Saturday.
That’s why I planned my trip from Thursday to Sunday.
Then recently, additional ticket sales opened and I got a ticket for Friday.
I actually could have gotten a VIP seat for Sunday too, but that would’ve meant taking an extra day off, canceling and rebooking my non refundable flight, and extending my hotel stay by another day 😬 so I gave up.
Anyway, I went to the concert and met a few ONCEs. They were all really great people.
Since I’m not that fluent in English, I couldn’t keep long conversations going, but still everyone was kind. Thank you.
I’ve often watched concerts in Japan from really far seats, so I was a bit worried about the view at Taipei Dome, but even the second floor seats weren’t that bad.
As for the concert itself, the setlist was mostly the same, but the fact that Tzuyu finally performed Run Away was really touching.
I think Kaohsiung and Taipei must be very emotional and meaningful places for her.
So honestly, I think they should hold more concerts in Taiwan. It would be great if there’s an encore.
(Of course just give me 1 seat. I won’t be greedy. I’m literally begging right now 😂)
Anyway, it was still fun watching each member. After repeating the same stages so many times, it felt like they’ve reached a certain level of mastery.
It felt a bit different from the concert in July, more relaxed and skilled.
Also, since I couldn’t go to the NA tour, hearing Takedown made me feel like coming to Taiwan was absolutely the right decision. It was so great.
If there’s 1 thing thats unfortunate thing, Dahyun couldn’t come. Even from what she says on Bubble, she seems really sad.
So yeah, Taiwan definitely needs an encore.
