$NBIS | Reversal Zone Reached Price has now entered the reversal zone. I added the 0.5 - 0.618 Fibonacci retracement, as selling pressure is still present - which is completely normal during a Wave 2 correction. This phase requires patience. Once price finds a bottom, Wave 3 UP comes next.

HOW DO I MANAGE POSITIONS BEFORE EARNINGS?
First, it is important to understand:
I manage two separate portfolios.
1. A short-term trading portfolio.
2. A long-term portfolio.
A.
If I am in a short-term trade, I close exposure before earnings.
Why?
Because earnings are a binary event, and risk management always comes first.
That said, If a stock is showing exceptional strength, strong momentum, and I already have meaningful profits, I may keep part of the position through earnings.
But even then - usually only part of it.
B.
Long-term positions are different.
Those are companies I researched deeply.
I believe in the company, its sector, and the long-term technical and fundamental structure behind it.
In those cases, I am more comfortable holding through earnings volatility.
And still - if profits become extended before the report, I am never ashamed to take partial profits.
Protecting capital and locking gains is part of the game.
