If you suspect you’re going down this route you unironically need to drop everything and become a state trooper.
It’s déclassé, you’ll have to give up your self-conceptualization as a temporarily embarrassed white collar worker, but it’s a basically fine life to live.

There’s a sort of hell I see people trapped in, for a number of reasons, where they refuse to commit to a career and can only get jobs that refuse to commit to workers and so they’re capped at slightly over minimum wage with irregular hours.

Who is making 70k a year? Like take home 70k? I’m almost 35 and the most I’ve ever made working 7 days a week, 2 jobs is 46k after taxes. Idk anyone who makes 70k after taxes besides like engineers
