An Israeli analyst confirms accounts of Palestinians being raped and sexually assaulted using dogs at Israeli detention sites, citing two guards he spoke with at Sde Teiman torture prison. “One had witnessed it and said it was too awful to describe. The other said he had heard about it from others and believed it was true.” Ben-Ephraim shares documented cases by various human rights groups below. “This happened. This is still happening. The evidence is overwhelming,” he notes.
Shaiel Ben-Ephraim@academic_la

Some have said that claims that Israel uses dogs to sexually abuse prisoners are antisemitic blood libels. Unfortunately, there is a good deal of evidence. The organizations that confirmed this include B’Tselem, Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, Council on American-Islamic Relations. Here is the testimony of survivors: 1) "Nihad" (50-year-old father, Ofer Prison): In an interview with Anadolu Agency, Nihad testified that during a pre-dawn raid on January 14, 2024, Israeli soldiers ordered a police dog to sexually assault him. He described it as "the most painful moments of my life" and noted that the assault left him with deep physical wounds and long-term trauma. 2) "A.A." (35-year-old father, Sde Teiman): Arrested from Al-Shifa Hospital in March 2024, A.A. told the PCHR that soldiers took him to a corridor away from cameras, stripped him naked, and unleashed dogs that urinated on him before one dog raped him anally for approximately three minutes. He emphasized that the dog appeared "trained" and "knew exactly what it was doing". 3) "Halim Salem" (Pseudonym, West Bank Detainee): Testified to Middle East Eye that while he was forced to kneel with his head in a toilet, guards brought in a dog that "mounted and raped" him. He recalled that when he screamed, the guards beat him for "disturbing the dog". 4) "Wajdi" (43-year-old, Gaza Detainee): Recounted to the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor that during interrogation, he was tied naked to a metal bed and raped by both a soldier and a dog while other soldiers filmed and mocked him. 5) Mohammed Arab (Al Araby TV Correspondent): While detained at Sde Teiman, he told his lawyer he witnessed soldiers forcing dogs to rape prisoners. He stated, "They teach their dogs to have sex with prisoners. Can you imagine?". 6) 18-year-old Gazan Detainee (Sde Teiman): Testified to PCHR that while he and other captives were being raped with bottles by soldiers, there was "also a dog behind us, as if the dog was raping us," serving as a form of extreme psychological and physical humiliation. 7) 48-year-old Detainee (Al-Shifa/Military Outpost): Reported witnessing a dog maul another man’s genitals until the victim bled to death in his arms. 8) The Committee to Protect Journalists and Middle East Monitor have collected dozens of testimonies from journalists who reported being subjected to "dog attacks" and sexualized torture during their detention. I talked to two guards in Sde Teiman, on more than one occasion. One had seen this happen and said it was too awful to talk about. The other said that he had heard about it from others and believed it was true. This happened. This is happening still. The evidence is too overwhelming.

This is nothing short of war propaganda. If you dig in to the report you will see that it’s actually a civilian recruitment programme to help with things like cooking, medical care and damaged homes. There is no evidence presented by HRW to suggest this campaign seeks to recruit combatants. The consistent role played by some Western Human rights organisations in providing moral pretexts for bombing countries in the global south doesn’t get nearly the amount of scrutiny it should.

NEW: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is conducting a campaign to recruit children as young as 12 to volunteer to become “homeland defending combatants.” The military recruitment and use of children is a grave violation of children’s rights and a war crime when the children are under 15.

You don't seem to understand international law. UNGA resolution 3314 explains that when a third country allows its territory to be used by another state to launch an attack, it crosses a legal line from "neutral bystander" to "accomplice." Under Res. 3314, this specific scenario is addressed directly as an act of aggression: "The action of a State in allowing its territory, which it has placed at the disposal of another State, to be used by that other State for perpetrating an act of aggression against a third State." Now head to the UN library and do some reading. Or you can skim this: thecradle.co/articles/inter…

When the Iraqi Parliament voted to expel US forces in 2020 following the murder of Qasem Soleimani, the US threatened to cut off its access to the US Federal Reserve — effectively choking its economy. Iraq backed down. Now, Iran is liberating Iraq from US occupation.

🇮🇶 Iraqi resistance groups agree to a 24-hour ceasefire after a request from the United States and NATO to allow for their withdrawal from Victoria Base in Baghdad, Al Mayadeen reports. ➤ The spokesperson for Saraya Awliya al-Dam resistance faction Abu Mahdi al-Jaafari said Washington and NATO asked Baghdad to secure a pause so forces could withdraw. ➤ Most resistance factions agreed, on the condition that Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) positions between Samarra and Karbala are not targeted. ➢ “But if you return [to sin], we will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers," the spokesman said. ➤ According to al-Jaafari, US troops are now confined to the Kurdistan region, having been pushed out from all other locations by resistance factions. ➤ NATO has now withdrawn all personnel from its mission in Iraq as of Friday, March 20, with several hundred troops from NATO Mission Iraq departing after recent Iranian attacks on Western military bases; spokesperson Allison Hart said the alliance would “adjust its presence” for security reasons, while a source cited by Al Mayadeen said the Italian contingent had fled to Jordan.

NY Times has essentially confirmed that Israel played a role in stimulating the violent regime change riots that left around 3000 dead in Iran this January 8 and 9, but which were marketed in the West as pro-democracy protests. It was well understood by the Mossad that those riots would help stimulate military action by Trump. Israeli intel merely needed to convince the feeble-minded president that a wave of decapitation strikes would unleash a massive upheaval to immediately topple the Islamic Republic. The January riots were presented to Trump as a preview of what was to come. Western media, including the NY Times and The Guardian, played a central role in legitimizing Israel's deception by falsely characterizing the violent regime change riots as mere protests, massively inflating the death toll and covering up the fact that many were murdered by the Israel-backed rioters themselves The whole of Western media and the Western human rights industrial complex deliberately misrepresented the real character of those riots. But now that the war they helped to instigate is going badly for the US and Israel, that same media is now free to reveal a few kernels of truth.

Key Points from Iranian FM Araghchi's Interview with Kyodo News: 🔹Question: Do you have a message for the int. community regarding this unjust war against Iran? 🔹Answer: Our message is that this war is not our war. This is a war that has been imposed on us. We were negotiating with the U.S. when they decided to attack us. This was a clearly aggressive act; an illegal, unjustified, and unprovoked act of aggression. What we are doing is purely self-defense. We will continue to defend ourselves, however necessary and for as long as necessary. So we hope that the whole world will have a single voice against this aggression, that is, the aggression of the U.S. and the Israeli regime and force them to stop this aggression. 🔹Question: What do you expect Japan to do to resolve this crisis? 🔹Answer: Japan has always taken a fair and balanced position and has always been known as a friend to Iran. We have always had very good relations with Japan, and we are aware of this. During this war, I spoke with the Japanese FM twice. We know that the Japanese PM was in Washington. We hope that Japan can play a constructive role in ending this aggression and ensuring that this unjust war is completely ended. Our position is, and I must repeat, that we do not accept a ceasefire because we do not want the scenario of last year to be repeated. The war must be completely and permanently ended, and there must be guarantees that this situation will not be repeated. Additionally, the damages that have been inflicted on Iran must be compensated. 🔹Question: Is there currently an active mediator to achieve a ceasefire? 🔹Answer: Some countries are trying to play a positive and constructive role. We welcome any initiative that can completely end this war. We are ready to listen and consider. But right now, although some countries are trying to find a solution, the U.S. does not seem ready to stop its aggression. So we will continue to defend ourselves. 🔹Question: What are Iran's conditions for a ceasefire? 🔹Answer: As I said, we are not looking for a ceasefire. We want a complete, comprehensive, and sustainable end to the war, and the only acceptable solution in our opinion is a complete end to the war.

Iran’s Foreign Minister @araghchi in an interview with the MS NOW network: "I do not know what Witkoff and Kushner conveyed to their boss. What I do know is that on February 26, when we met in Geneva, we were able to make good progress. The Foreign Minister of Oman read the text of his tweet to both delegations before publishing it, and both delegations confirmed that yes, it accurately described what we had achieved that day: significant progress. They want to justify an unjustifiable act of aggression, so they are looking for an excuse. I never said that we intend to build a bomb. What I said was that we have 440 kilograms of 60-percent enriched material, and this was not confidential at all; it is also mentioned in the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency. I said that if this material were enriched further, according to the claims of your own experts, it could be enough to produce about ten bombs. Then I emphasized that we are ready to hand over this material, ready to dilute it, and ready to lower its level of enrichment. My point in saying this was that the concession we are offering is truly a major one. But how they interpreted these remarks, I do not know. Perhaps it is due to a lack of sufficient knowledge, or perhaps because they wanted, as I said, to justify an act of aggression—an act that cannot be justified in any way. I hope that soon the truth about what happened on February 26 in Geneva will become clear to the public. We were very close to reaching an agreement".

"It's possible to oppose this war AND oppose the Iranian regime. You can denounce BOTH." Sure you can. But you shouldn't. You should not do this. You should not be a pro bono Pentagon propagandist in the middle of a US war of immense consequence. You should not do the hasbarists' job for them. Make them do their own job themselves. This war already has a huge number of propagandists screaming "REGIME BAD" at the top of their lungs in order to ensure that the slaughter continues. You don't need to add your voice to the chorus, and you shouldn't. You should not help them manufacture consent for more human butchery. You should be using your voice solely and exclusively to end the butchery your government and its allies are inflicting on human beings. All your "REGIME BAD" sloganeering accomplished was paving the way to the carnage you see before you today. Your self-righteous denunciations of the Iranian government failed to expand the rights of a single Iranian woman or LGBTQ individual. All you accomplished was helping to grease the wheels for a war of unfathomable horror, ensuring that all Iranians now live under more fear and misery than ever before. If you live under the western empire, you have an ethical obligation to use your voice responsibly in that context. You don't get to just irresponsibly feed into an active war propaganda campaign by regurgitating the same regime change narratives about an empire-targeted government as the US and Israeli governments, and then pretend this doesn't make you culpable for the consequences of your actions. If your words help grease the wheels of the war machine, then you bear partial moral responsibility for what the war machine does with your assistance. You don't get to just pretend that responsibility doesn't exist. The families who are being torn apart with the help of your pro bono war propaganda efforts do not care about your anarchist or Trotskyist "all tyranny is equally bad" political philosophy or how good your virtuous purity posturing makes you feel about yourself. All they experience is the consequences of your actions. As a westerner, your one and only duty is to oppose the depravity of the western empire. That's your only job. Don't lean out the window of the Empire of Perpetual Bloodlust to wag your finger at empire-targeted countries in the global south. It's obnoxious. Curb the murderousness of your own government and its allies. THAT'S your job. If you get your job done, THEN come talk to me about how bad and wrong some random government in west Asia looks to you. Until then, shut the fuck up and do your job.

I was a university professor in Iran. I taught physics to students of physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, and chemistry. In every class—except chemistry, where out of 40 students only 3–5 were male—the rest were roughly half women. Some of the best students were women, including some wearing what you call a burqa. Many of them later fell in love and married their classmates. Where did you get all this nonsense about Iranian women? From the Afghanistan you engineered?
Coach Tommy Tuberville@SenTuberville

Women used to be able to dress, work, go to school, and marry freely in Iran. But then the RADICAL ISLAMISTS took over. Now, women in Iran are treated like DOGS. Where is the outrage from the so-called Democrat “feminists” about Islam’s barbaric treatment of women???
