Dearest @AshwiniVaishnaw ji, Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair? Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund. Pls implement this immediately. I see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge. If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers. This is long long overdue. Today is Saturday and we are working. It's 654 days since 12th BPS MOU dt 19.07.2023 signed between IBA and UFBU. CBOF advocates for five-day banking week in India, highlighting a discrepancy between the promises made to bankers and the current reality. Here's a breakdown of the key points: Key Arguments: 1. Precedent in Other Institutions: - Major financial and regulatory bodies (RBI, SEBI, LIC, NABARD, etc.) that already operate on a five-day workweek, questioning why banks cannot follow suit. 2. Digital Banking Capabilities: - Most banking services (account opening, fund transfers, deposits, loans) are now available online/24x7, reducing the need for a six-day physical banking system. 3. Employee Welfare: - "Promised to us, but betrayed by them!", We were assured a five-day workweek in 12th BPS and the recommendation were already forwarded to DFS, but have yet to see it implemented, leading to frustration. 4. Public Appeal: - In our last agitation we got the public support for 5 days banking week. Their support reflects broader calls for work-life balance and modernization of labor practices in banking.
