Less than 24 hours after my Tanzanite expose tweet, @smokeylisa decides to revoke Rollbit’s RTP certification over payout disputes and black box RTP verification that doesn’t meet the stated standard. Tanzanite claims to rely on responsible gambling tools and the consensus of the gambling community, but without greater transparency, it’s difficult to assess whether the rankings are truly impartial. THERE IS NO TANZANITE STANDARD This fugazi benchmark needs to disclose its ownership structure and any financial interests tied to the casinos it ranks. How much of Tanzanite is owned by parties connected to Rollbit or other casinos? What investments or financial relationships exist behind the scenes? This space is about to get much cleaner.

As long as Tanzanite has existed, we have relied upon the community for assistance in deciding what is correct or not.
This is an instance where we thought this was reasonable but the greater community disagrees, therefore we act.
We will be removing Rollbit's criteria for RTP disclosure until they adjust accordingly.
I have always welcomed feedback and will continue to do so. Ultimately, this is about raising the bar and making the industry better for players.
We have already influenced change within the recent days and I know more casinos are actively implementing responsible gambling tools to comply.

I think there’s definitely some bias here. @smokeylisa, why did @rollbit pass the RTP disclosure? The RTPs they display are completely false. Borderline fraudulent, in my opinion. Rollbit displays Mines at 99.2% RTP on its website, while the actual RTP is 98%.
