I joined Twitter in 2009. I really never posted. Didn’t know how it worked. Then in late December, 2015, I was watching TV and saw Hillary Clinton speaking at some college and saying, “To every survivor of sexual assault, you have the right to be believed. We’re with you.” — Hillary I could’ve believe it!! She really didn’t just say that…. Did she??? Come to find out, she was repeating a tweet she posted a-couple of months earlier. I wasn’t active on Twitter and never saw it. I tried to tweet a reply but it wouldn’t post. I didn’t know there was a character limit. So…. What do old folks do when they need help with social media??? Yep, I called my 11 yo grandson. He walked me through the process not knowing what I planned to tweet. On 1-06-16 …. I typed out my reply to Hillary….. Looked it over carefully and thought….. it’s truthful and says what I’ve been saying since the late 90’s. I clicked “tweet” ……. and all hell broke loose. Within minutes my phone was ringing off the wall with voicemails from reporters. About the 3rd or 4th call was from my son, an attorney. I picked it up and he said, “ Mom, what did you do?” I replied, “I have no idea.” I didn’t. I had no idea the power of Twitter……that Twitter was instantly and worldwide. So began my X (twitter) life.

Nikita wants to prioritize small accounts. I applaud that effort.
The biggest thing he can do to help small creators is to reset every block, reduce the weight of a block in Phoenix and add limits on how many people you can block in an hour.
As long as the disengagement group blocks are there, many won't be seen. All the cool tools in the world won't matter.

In just the past few weeks I’ve gained another 1,600 subscribers, and my latest film “Starmen” has now surpassed 217,000 views with overwhelmingly positive comments.
My audience loves the content. Yet I continue to earn zero from my hard work because my channel was demonetized under what I believe were false pretences.
Other AI filmmakers using very similar creative processes have had their monetization successfully reinstated after public appeals. What is the difference between their channels and mine?
I’m asking for basic fairness:
Please reinstate my channel’s monetization or provide clear, specific reasons why my content no longer qualifies while others in the same category do.
Thousands of hours of original creative work deserve better than this.
I shall not stop posting.

What I thought of as harmless fun is now becoming a very alarming concern.
I did not know the cost.

X is not a town square. It’s a corporation whose parent company is going public soon.
X has made promises: if you do this, you’ll be a content creator and rewarded, and if you follow the rules, you won’t be tagged internally as an aggregator account.
X has also claimed to have doubled the payout pool, without evidence. Meanwhile, everyone I know has had their pay clipped, if they ever qualified in the first place.
X is basically Twitter 1.0 with extra features (less Periscope), and while you might not get outright suspended, you may be demonetized.
It’s turning into The Grapes of Wrath around here real fast. You don’t like picking peaches for 5 cents a peck? Too bad!
