now, i'm at a point na OPM na lang ang pinapakinggan ko kasi sobrang na appreciate ko yung art na we produce. never na talagang magkakaroon ng colonial mentality because that is so kadiri 🤮.

did you guys know? hindi ako nakikinig ng OPM kasi it felt cringe and embarrasing dati like the only thing I listen to is English songs. then, after sometime I realize na ang sanhi kung bakit ganoon yung tingin ko sa OPM ay dahil sa colonial mentality na meron ako.

now looking back at it, it saddens me since sobrang brainwashed ko na ang mga Western culture ay mas superior sa atin. buti na lang talaga, I slowly drifted away from that mentality and started appreciating our culture bit by bit.
