A few thoughts on the #Broncos' 2026 schedule:
* Obviously, a pretty rough six weeks to start. The NFL did them no favors, and they might be staring down a 3-3 reality to open the year. They'll be battle-tested early, though that could prove beneficial later.
* But none of this should be a surprise. None of it. We knew the opponents in advance. We knew the Broncos are coming off a fantastic season. We knew they're now considered one of the league's elite. Adjust accordingly.
* As discussed, it's a positive development going on the road Week 1 to Kansas City. One of the few breaks they caught on the schedule.
* Laugh if you want, but Week 3 legitimately could be a Super Bowl preview. Bo vs. Stafford. Payton vs. McVay. Absolute appointment viewing.
* Maybe I'm alone, but I think it's wild of the NFL to give Denver not one, but TWO Friday games -- both conference matchups, one across the country. Again, though, this is what happens when you finally get a seat at the Cool Kids Table. There are pros and cons.
* The schedule closes essentially as difficult (on paper) as it begins. Which is why it's imperative the Broncos win the games they're "supposed" to win and give themselves more margin for error.
* For anyone assuming the Broncos are gonna have a down year: you didn't expect them to win 14 games (and a playoff game) last season. Just get to the playoffs. Win the division. Shoot for the best seed in the AFC. Period. Whether that means a 12-5 record or a 15-2 record. This team is going to compete EVERY single week.
* For anyone assuming the Broncos are gonna automatically repeat their success: the NFL is the definition of parity; things change not just year-to-year, but week-to-week. Nothing is given. Everything is earned. 2025 is history.
* That being said, the Broncos are winning (at least) 12 games in 2026. Cope and seethe, haters.

Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in all three Disney Star Wars sequel films, on criticism that her character is a Mary Sue:
"The Mary Sue thing in itself is sexist because it's the name of a woman. Everyone was saying that Luke had the exact same capabilities. I think Rey is incredibly vulnerable, and nothing she's doing is for the greater good. She's just doing what she thinks is the right thing."
Luke trained for years, lost his hand, and got beaten by Vader. Rey picked up a lightsaber and defeated a Sith Lord the same day. Are these the same?

Kathleen Kennedy, in her Deadline exit interview after stepping down as Lucasfilm president, on what she considered the lows of her tenure:
"The lows are that you've got a very, very small percentage of the fan base that has enormous expectations and basically they want to continue to see pretty much the same thing. And if you're not going to do that, then you know going in that you're going to disappoint them. I'm not sure there's anything you can do about that, because you can't please everybody."
Is the person who ran Star Wars into the ground blaming the fans on her way out?

I think he deserves to be back. Gotta shake up the coaching staff though…

David Adelman is expected to return as head coach of the Denver Nuggets for his second season, per @BennettDurando “Despite chatter that Adelman may already be on the hot seat one year into his tenure, the early sense within the organization is that he’ll return for his second season. He led the Nuggets to 54 regular-season wins with 28 different starting lineups before wiping out in the playoffs.” (denverpost.com/2026/05/01/nug…)

@Boisabronco No. I remember when Brady had 4 knee surgeries in one off season, and 3 were unplanned. He went on to play every game in 13 of his next 14 seasons.

LOVE! Coleman is David Montgomery to me. 3-down back, instincts, vision, runs with power, good receiver.
