Just noticed something smart in a recent #phishing campaign luring for bank credentials. The phishing site loads as a full page with static space resembling an address bar on top. This deceives the victim by making him believe they have visited the actual website.

AI will write most of the code. The advantage will not be speed. It will be knowing when the code is wrong. Engineers who can spot subtle mistakes will dominate. Everyone else will ship confident bugs.

Most scalability problems are actually dependency problems. Your system does not slow down because of load. It slows down because one shared component becomes a bottleneck. Fix the dependency graph before you add more compute.

AI is great at generating solutions. It is terrible at choosing the right problem. Engineers who can frame problems clearly will outperform those who just prompt faster. Thinking is becoming the rare skill.

Security is not about adding more controls. It is about removing assumptions. Every implicit trust will be exploited. Make trust explicit. Enforce it everywhere. Log it.

A useful rule for engineers: If you cannot explain your architecture on a whiteboard in 2 minutes, you probably don't understand it yet. Clarity comes before scalability. Confusion scales faster than systems do.

Good architecture is not about using the newest service. It is about reducing the number of things that can break. Every component multiplies failure paths. Simple systems fail loudly. Complex systems fail mysteriously. Let me know what you think.

AI is becoming a very capable junior engineer. It writes code fast. It explains concepts. It drafts designs. But it has never survived a production outage at 3AM. Experience is about to become more valuable, not less.
