@thedavidcurrie In fairness, I don’t think there is a rule for this type of contact. What is a high boot? There should be a threshold. Is it waist hight? Badge height? Neck height? Players should be allowed to attempt a kick here but also try and head. It’s a grey area that needs to be B&W

Just heard Andy Halliday on Superscoreboard saying that this wasn’t a red card as “Tierney’s head was low like a diving header”. Wow.
