I absolutely hate having to write this. Our friend @MrBluesHat (formerly Hitch’s Hat) passed away last night after a long fight with glioblastoma. If you were around #STLBlues or #HockeyTwitter for any length of time, you probably crossed paths with him. Elite sarcasm. One of the founders of #Shots4Goals. Professional ball buster. Passionate fan. One of the regulars who made this community feel like more than just people yelling about hockey online. The disease took a lot from him physically, but it never took his wit, his fight, or his love for his family and the Blues. He beat the odds for a long time, because stubbornness might’ve actually been one of his superpowers. The rink, the X timeline, and this fanbase are all going to feel a little quieter now. Stick taps for Mr. Blues Hat, and much love to @missus_hat

Why do managers at companies never have the balls to reject you personally? I interviewed 3 times, took a test, put together a 15-min presentation on AI, sent a follow up email & the manager replied knowing I didn’t get the job, but got rejection from a canned email. Frustrating
