The collision led to the death of Mackenzie Shirilla's boyfriend, 20-year-old Dominic Russo, and 19-year-old Davion Flanagan. Shirilla was guilty of multiple charges, including two counts of murder. Although the defense contended there was no evidence of her intent to kill, the judge asserted that Mackenzie Shirilla's actions deliberate. Consequently, she received a sentence of 15 years to life in prison for the crime.
