Another milestone. I’ll keep lining them up and I’ll keep knocking them out the park!! Would it be too much to ask for 1000 RTs & ❤️ to celebrate ??

When I watch Refcam, I respect referees more. The instantaneous nature of those decisions can be pressuring. They must be smart people too. The good ones. In this Refcam I’m watching, Sam Barrott who officiated the Spurs vs Aston Villa game has called Richarlison ‘Richy’, Rogers ‘Morgan’ and Gallagher ’Conor’. That shows that he’s warmed up to them. He told De Zerbi “good to see you” probably because he’s been away from the league. He told Leon Bailey the same because he’s not been around too. He was recalled from Roma in January. Chris Kavanagh in Everton vs Liverpool. He calls a foul and Tarkowski keeps nagging. He asked him “are you going to take the whistle when you retire or what?”😂😂😂 He told Salah, “Pleasure Mo” and Salah responds, “if I don’t see you again, it’s a pleasure”. Paul Tierney — Arsenal vs Bournemouth. When he called the penalty, he told the Bournemouth player, “I know it’s a short distance but your hand and arm are really high”. James Hill had his foot on the 18-box before Gyokeres’, he shouted “stay out ‘Hilly’, Hilly stay out”. Take note of ‘Hilly’. It’s friendly and almost interpersonal. Those clips give a different feel of what it is to be in their position.

@MrBartDavies @TheRefereeForum Had something similar happen to me; “Ref I think you should give this up, you’re not very good” “Thanks mate, what’s your excuse for still playing football??” Triggered was an understatement 😂 🤷‍♂️

“Ref, you’re fucking shit” “Mate, you’re playing Div 1 North of the WSFL and you think I’m shit?” “You can’t talk to me like that ref, I’m reporting you” Games gone. Surely I have better things to do with my Saturdays. Jokers.

British fighter jets flying over Cyprus, by far the most outstanding camera work I have ever seen. If carlsberg made cameraman he would probably be the best cameraman in the world

@DeadlineDayLive I’d never heard of her until I saw this post; and that’s the difference 🤷‍♂️ Pretty unfair comparison as well. Compare her salary to a low level championship player and the arguement might hold more value

🚨 28-year old Aitana Bonmatí, who is the highest-paid female footballer in the world, earns a salary that is around 260 times lower than Cristiano Ronaldo, who is 41-years old. Just one month of Ronaldo's salary would equal 21 and a half years of Bonmatí's career. What is your thoughts on this? 🤔

The women’s game wants equal pay in line with men, yet they play only a 1/3 amount of games that men play, and now want to play LESS or spread out longer & would maybe even go on strike to get it? Lots of similarities to divorce, no? 🤔

"I would never rule out further action from the players" England captain Leah Williamson suggested players would be willing to go on strike if their concerns over player welfare and playing schedules aren't addressed 🎙️

@EPLBible It’s actually the correct decision though 🤔 maybe the wolves player should’ve thought about the fact he’s already on a yellow before delaying a restart or showing unsportsmanlike conduct 🤔 But yep, refs fault apparently….

Wolves player sent off for kicking the ball away… This is what you get when a referee who has never played the game before is in charge. 🤦‍♂️ x.com/TheGoonerz1/st…

Last minute of the Champions League final. You are 2-1 down. You have a free-kick in the perfect position. Who are you choosing to take it? 🤔

Slagging off VAR, but you want “consistency” meaning; you want the Laws of the Game enforced…. Can’t have it both ways, sorry 🤷‍♂️ Yep it’s a ridiculous way for a game to finish, and I’d have left it at 3-1 But the laws are the laws, and everyone wanted VAR, so tough shit IMO
