@ccactouse Or maybe it was the reputation that follows women like that that she was unprepared for that caused the concern? There's a reason why the London police dropped the case. There was no case. The trial was purely political. They knew what the outcome would be.

Oh I just want to remind everyone that in Canadian law, consent can only be found in the complainants mind alone, if she was intoxicated, that’s negated. And if she said no at any point. Consent is gone. Just so everyone in the replies knows 😘

And she's gone ... she died peacefully in my arms. The vet who came to do it said she probably had diabetes or kidney issues and that her quality of life had deteriorated ... that helped me, knowing I was doing the right thing so my dear little friend wouldn't suffer.

The vet will be coming tomorrow between noon and 1:00 to usher Phoebe across the Rainbow Bridge. She's been a loyal companion to me (and two dogs) for almost 20 years. I'm going to miss her terribly. There are paintings and sketches for her all over the house.

We live in Canada. It can snow pretty much any month of the year, so I’m not whining about this storm. However, here’s a reference for anyone that is wondering just how much we’ve gotten. Keep in mind, it was +10 yesterday and there was absolutely zero snow on the ground
