@TheCiderShedPod Does anyone else think that Jakob is a vocal doppelgänger for Milton Jones? I just can’t disassociate the voice. I had the same issue with Eddy Grundy and a curly haired chap from Brush Strokes - that’s taken 20 years, and I still have the odd relapse.

People think I'm funny. I wish I were. Instead, I have an incredible memory for witticisms and jokes told by others. I suspect my wife, after 4 years of marriage and using up my entire repertoire, is now wondering what happened to the once hilarious guy she dated.

@TheSaxDoctor Lovely chuck. Such a great word, I’m sure key operated ones are common on workshop tools but I do miss them on site drills - ours are all SDS or hand tighten, quite dull really, and in the case of hand tighten, technically inferior.

Thrilled to find this vintage Cardinal chuck at a flea market. Top quality British engineering - and from the condition of the jaws it's barely been used. Paid £12. A modern equivalent of this sort of quality would set you back £300+.

I avoid using Amazon on principle, so I deliberately bought something on eBay instead. But it arrived in an Amazon box with an Amazon ticket. What's that about?
