@klaskarlsson @GeoNode they do have docker images and last time I tried it worked out of the box

Just gave up on installing @GeoNode. Spent the whole day trying different (at least three) instructions on geonode.org failing every time. Couldn't even get the "Basic" install to work. Is it supposed to be this hard?

im starting to find out all these city governments that are 'ESRI award winner's' actually have shit maps,shit data portals, and 404s everywhere for maps. This must just be an award for who ponied up the must cash to some sales guy award? #gischat

@tbarascu @system76 Nope, sorry. This "tweak" only works for GTK applications, not for QT applications. Even when turned off my QT application dialogs stay on top of everything else.

I really like Pop_OS! from @system76, but having all dialogues from Qt based application on top of everything without being able to turn it off, is really annoying. GTK apps work fine, it's just Qt based ones that do this.

@rjhale well, I run debian testing and wayland is super stable with qgis, everything is smooth. problem is if you want to host remote desk tools they only work with x. So you can either connect to other hosts or restart in x.

@tbarascu X - I would run wayland but I still get random weirdness although that's growing less and less with every release.

The bug that has plagued my life for 6 months with Ubuntu 19.10 is gone in 20.04 as far as I can tell - I can run QGIS on my right monitor and not crash GNOME.
