@crazymariobros @Churchofthebell Okay so singles is not an esport but doubles is, got it. Also StarCraft isn't one either. Glad that's cleared up.
English

@Churchofthebell It has to be a team game to be an esport, individual acts are just competition.

Join one tournament and get back to me bro

And with this, Rocket League officially becomes the most skill-based esport in the world. The very last element of randomness is gone. Every other title has at least a factor of randomness, RL now has literally none. This is awesome.

@TRASH1119 The coincidence is that they both have so mucH ANGRY JOE TO WATCH

@adjacent_1 @DShyKnock Of course it's capable of being discussed by other people. It just seems silly to be picky about who is "allowed" to address what has been an ongoing issue in lol esports for years. If they propose possible solutions, why is that harmful? They're just journalists doing journalism
English

@ted_ssbm @DShyKnock Not at all. I don't give a shit about virtue signalling. This point is entirely capable of being made without also signal boosting these two insane humans. This concept is not some patented secret formula that only Thorin can explain competently

Genuinely a required listen if we want to have honest conversations about steering the direct of LoL Esports in the right direction over the next few years
Not that I trust Twitter to be the best place for those conversations, but I don’t want to see “remove franchising” blanket responses without addressing the problems caused by its removal
Last Free Nation@LastFreeNation
The Four Horsemen are back to address franchising in LoL esports! @Thorin, @MonteCristo, & @RLewisReports are joined by @HarrisPeskin to discuss why franchising was put in place, what dissolving franchising would mean, the Wooloo article, & much more. Full episode links below

@adjacent_1 @DShyKnock Completely ignoring the purpose of the post to instead virtue signal to a community that largely agrees with you anyway? Do better anonymous twitter user
English

@DShyKnock Signal boosting Thorin and Richard Lewis? Do better David

@speedygrapes @C9LoL @TeamLiquidLoL For anyone having trouble with VPN regions I got Taiwan to work with Surfshark after it not working through SK or Japan

Waiting for a VPN company to sponsor @C9LoL or @TeamLiquidLoL for the biggest esports marketing W of the year

Not that we need your validation. But AVGN has been on YouTube for 20 years and so far zero recognition. Maybe get someone that isn’t a zoomer on your marketing team.

@moony_moonya @teteu_sancto @beatingLupin @Benvi_OCE @34lego88 This whole thing spiraled out of me agreeing with someone that SA hasn't done anything significant at international events. I was never talking about worlds slots until you decided that's what the conversation was about.
English

@ted_ssbm @teteu_sancto @beatingLupin @Benvi_OCE @34lego88 There you go. LCS shouldn't have 3 guaranteed spots. We're voicing exactly our thoughts on this. What about you, you just wanted to shit on both regions or argue just for the sake of arguing?
English

@moony_moonya @teteu_sancto @beatingLupin @Benvi_OCE @34lego88 I agree they should be able to compete for the 3rd LCS slot, never said I was against that so stop putting words in my mouth. If you want a 2nd worlds slot, hope Riot feels the same, or make it out of groups once. Idk what else to tell you.
English

@ted_ssbm @teteu_sancto @beatingLupin @Benvi_OCE @34lego88 There's not much of a skill gap except for FLY. In this recent split: NA1 > SA1 > NA2 > SA2 > NA3... So SA should at least have the right to compete for another slot. There's no way you can't understand this.
