New York socialist Muslim Zohran Mamdani just called Siraj Wahhaj — an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing plot — “one of the nation’s foremost Islamic leaders” after meeting him for Jummah at Masjid At-Taqwa in Brooklyn. He didn’t say this privately.
