Alright. So the two that separated, unsurprising to me, were the Callaway Quantum Max TD and the Titleist GTS3. Shaft I fell in love with (seriously the best feeling shaft I’ve ever swung) is the Ventus Blue TR+ 6X. I can actually FEEL it through the swing, but it’s also crazy stable. As far as the clubhead that won out - the GTS3 got it. The Quantum was longer, somewhat noticeably - about 6-7 yards, so half a club ish. But the biggest thing for me was eliminating this starts right, stays right miss I have with my Qi10. The GTS3 was just tight draw after tight draw. Effortless consistency. The kind of tight dispersion I’m happy to give up 6-7 yards for. Not to say the Quantum wasn’t forgiving. It is. But the GTS3 just felt easy. Jumpy face, so if I need to go after it harder, I can and I don’t worry about getting wild and being out of play. The only problem - friggin thing with my shaft is over $1000. I haven’t paid full price for a driver in about 8 years, so that’s a tough pill to swallow at that price. I DO think it’s a setup I can drop in the bag and keep it there for a long time, though.
