This is one of the few professors at UF I can truly say will have a lifelong impact on my understanding of science. I truly enjoyed working with his students. The experience was fun as well as difficult— the best combination. Congrats on your retirement, Dr. Frederick.

@terrainandtide I think plastic surgery gets a bad rep because we only ever notice the bad examples. If plastic surgery is good, you presumably don't realize the person has had plastic surgery. Given that I've only seen a small amount of "bad" plastic surgery, I assume it's actually pretty good.

Attractiveness is a huge source of privilege and plastic surgeons are unsung heroes of equality.
