@SamRaincock I often go in to Newcastle on the bus from Carlisle and the West Road and the streets it goes through down to St James’ are an absolute disgrace. I think to myself that if I lived there I’d be out with a brush and shovel and clear all the litter up.

I was in Newcastle earlier this week driving, and the whole city is a disgrace. There is not a single route into the place that hasn’t roadworks or looks an utter mess. It really is not good for the city at all.
