my problem with Leon is The Fallen is: A big point is made about losing one's humanity, and then a choice to retain it or accept "eternal life". Leon shows the fiber to live as a human and reject his betrayer partner. Only now to be turned into a silly immortal monster man

@aldiaXIII Alucard in CV3 is weaker than Sypha 😭 But yeah, people think of Alucard and think SotN, not his original "my only use is the bat form lol" self, I guess. I've just been playing these games for so long I don't trust wives to survive.

@thatBarbarella I’m also a Netflixvania hater, but we can’t deny it revived a lot of interest in the series and a big part of that was Sypha powerscaling equally with Alucard and Trevor. Genuinely, how could they watch that and think the shitty dead wife trope works 😭

If Sypha died at childbirth bc of the curse I'll get so mad I hate that trope with all my soul and Castlevania doesn't have the best record with dead wives.
