The victim cosplay is beyond pathetic now.
You weren’t oppressed .... you were picked, backed, recalled, paid and celebrated by Australian cricket for over a decade.
88 Tests. World Cup winner. Ashes wins. Central contracts. Leadership roles. Media love. A life most cricketers will never sniff.
And after all that, you’re out here whining like a little bitch, pretending Australia somehow wronged you?....Spare us.
Then you drop the line about having a “white wife.”
Crying about being judged by race while dragging race into it yourself isn’t brave or principled .... it’s straight-up hypocrisy. That’s you being racist, not the country.
You got dropped when you didn’t score runs.
You got picked when you did.
That’s elite sport .... not persecution, not bias, not a conspiracy.
If you want to be a political activist, fine .... own it.
But don’t rewrite history, race-bait, and bite the hand that gave you everything.
This isn’t courage.
It’s entitlement, ingratitude, and a little bitch energy wrapped in self-pity.

@Larryjamieson_ @WelfareCapLLC It's actually quite common in North Queensland and the NT. Can't say if it's derogatory or not but it kind of feels like it.
English

@WelfareCapLLC No, but it’s basically never used unless in the 3rd person - I.e. “I met this bloke the other night”

At my first job I can remember this one customer would regularly call me “bloke”
“Gday, bloke”
I still think about it

If you call me “buddy” I automatically don’t trust you. Brother, boss, dude, sir, man and bro are all acceptable. Buddy comes across as extremely disrespectful and honestly it goes against man code. Men, do you agree?

@JimmySpeckled Might have to drag the boat up and have a fish. The rivers will be out of action down here for quite some time!
