Spurs and Thunder is a physical series (football game, rock fight, etc.) on both sides. When a neutral observer/national media/NBA Twitter claims OKC is dirty…it’s cherry picking for an agenda. For every iHart holding clip there’s a Wemby holding clip.

@DefenseMinister I would sign a forward and draft a D early. We need a more immediate impact up front but find longer term things to plan for on D. Hopefully Yak and Hensler work out tough, that would be huge

The people advocating for the Sens to go out and get a D this summer are only doing so because they are stuck in the “gotta be big on the backend” mindset and cannot fully accept that Spence has more than proven himself to be an above average everyday Top 4 D.

Another point on Batherson: he’s coming off a career year. I understand the tenure, his value to the team, etc. But saying “30-goal, 70-point guys get paid $9M these days, they have no choice” seems a little generous to a guy who just hit those numbers for the first time.

@jae2so Let him draft and develop. When he wants to make a trade.. take his phone away, change the password on his computer, etc. Give him enough resources to scout well and it might not be a total disaster. He's got a decent eye for amateur talent imo. Just no trades!

@ShackTS He needs to get & play stronger. Love him, i think he'll figure it out but when Carolina played him heavy it was a struggle. But I also think our zone exit tactics worked against him. Carolina dropped back, we should have let him carry it rather than the dreadful stretch pass
