
Of course, there are definitely a few challenges that come with a name like this.
1. People can mistake company name for "The" instead of "The.com"
2. Search/social algos can struggle with "The.com" at times
3. Not trademark-able
BUT — the benefits have been quite impactful so far.
1. Easy to remember - some recall the name months later
2. Provokes conversation every time
3. Helps us get seat at the table
Branding almost always comes with a set of benefits and challenges.
It's up to the founders/brand team to decide which challenges they're built to overcome and which benefits they can't live without.
