Or Your son isn't getting playing time because he missed the spring break tournament for vacation. Do this. Call the school's athletic director or principal and request a meeting. Tell them it's important. At the meeting, tell them how much you appreciate the coach caring enough about your son to teach him about life, and how much you appreciate him holding your son accountable. Then thank them for hiring a coach that cared about commitment, sacrifice and teaching the kids that being a great teammate comes with responsibilities. Then suggest they give the coach a raise, shake their hands and reiterate how much you appreciate them.

NIL didn’t help a ton. He has a bunch of zero-star players and JMU players who transferred with him. The genius is he assembled a team of players with chips on their shoulders, the core of which came from JMU and instilled his winning culture. They friggin LOVE him and would run through walls for him. It’s like he’s the Warren Buffett of recruiters picking the value stocks no one else wanted.

What Curt Cignetti has done at Indiana is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in the history of sports. Indiana was one of the worst football programs in the history of college football. I thought Cig was a clown during that initial presser when he said “google me”. I was like this guy is gonna get throttled by the big boys. Instead it only took him 2 years to turn Indiana into a dominant national power. Sure NIL helps but still this is insane. It seemed beyond impossible to ever do it but to do it this fast? I still can’t believe it. The Big 10 now goes through Ann Arbor and Bloomington. Who would have ever dreamed it?

I'd start Tyler Shough. Projections give him a slight edge in your scoring (around 31 pts vs. Mayfield's 30) due to higher pass volume and a soft Titans matchup. He's been hot lately, with 17+ pts in 4 straight. Just note the correlation with your opponent's Olave—Shough's success could boost him too, but the numbers favor Shough overall.
