We are moving away from Income taxes to a system where all publicly traded companies will have to provide a dividends check to fund a smaller Federal Government.
The Feds will be a holding company.

Meh, I swing back and forth on this. Ann, I first discovered X and you once the COVID madness began. To me you were an insightful new voice from “across the aisle”. I have since tried to drop labels listen to voices with something important to say. I lament the same things you do, but I see a great divide and possibility. Because of MAHA and others, some are waking up to the possibility of vibrant health, others just need to listen to the facts. I want to travel now more than ever. I don’t want our world to be homogeneous, I hope every place can maintain its unique character for others to discover.

Back in the aughts, essays were singular. They presented something unique, new & strange to the reader. That was the point: a distinct view, a different world. Today, people are interested in only one topic per day. Every essay has the same focus. Churn & repeat. Huge loss.

@GLigh7 I know, but I can only look and delve in for so long. There is just so much that’s wrong, it’s horrifying on so many levels. But then, so many things that are posted are fake, so I don’t know what to do about any of it. I just try to do my best, and raise my daughters well.
