Cranswick says it has been inundated with calls this morning. It has advised people not to call. The food hampers are being delivered to a central point & the council will be identifying those who need them - then hand them out with the help of volunteers.

East Yorkshire food producer Cranwick PLC is to provide free meat hampers for over-70s in East Hull who are self-isolating (financially supported by Siemens Gamesa). It's also working with Jackson's Bakery to provide sandwiches for hospital staff & supporting local food banks.
