All the chat about presenters and pundits really over-states their importance to football coverage. Surely most people watch to see the match not the pundits

I get where she’s coming from and her point is valid. Where you could argue is from the pov that having Ian Wright present is actually GOOD for the Women’s game. Why? Because he’s an established sports pundit/personality so having him on, as opposed to Aluko herself, is likely to have a bigger impact on people actually tuning in. People are MORE likely to say “Oh Ian Wright” than say “Oh it’s Eni Aluko.” That’s no disrespect to her but it’s just one way of looking at it. Anyone agree or disagree?

I just made a very similar post! Rory’s a wonderful golfer, but after he walked by those fans today, including kids, I lost any respect I had… Especially, 3 mins later, when Bryson came through the same crowd and gave high-fives and fist bumps to everyone behind the ropes… Being a decent human, especially, to kids, doesn’t cost a dime…💯🤷🏼‍♂️

@henrywinter Not sure why Ange is getting so much leeway from the media. No recent Spurs manager has been in such a bad league position. The ‘style’ might impress some but increasingly looks like bad coaching to not be able to adapt & make the team harder to play against, as is clearly needed

You can get rid of the manager at Spurs (again) but it’s the culture that really needs to change. It’s the deficiencies in recruitment (squad not deep enough, stronger characters needed). It’s the mindset (too meek too often). It’s the leadership at the top (too detached). #THFC
